07 Dec Stephanie & Ken | Vineyard Wedding in Niagara on the lake – Canada

After the wedding in Chicago, there was another photographic highlight on my roadtrip in America that I was looking forward to.

In Canada, at the Niagara Falls, there is a small, pleasant town called “Niagara on the Lake”, surrounded by vineyards and Lake Ontario.
I have always wanted to photograph a wedding in the Austrian wine region Wachau, so I was even more excited to do a wedding shoot in a Canadian vineyard. When I got to know Mary from the Pepperberry, my small project became more elaborate. She was full of ideas and supported me with wonderful vintage furniture pieces, breathtaking decorations, and dreamlike flowers.

Yet again, my first impression about American people was confirmed by Mary. They are bursting with heartiness, helpfulness, and joie de vivre. It was sooooo nice to be welcomed so wonderfully as a stranger.
Three sweet, naked cakes from Sweet Art by Elisabeth and two enchanting people, Stephanie and Ken completetd everything that I needed for a perfect inspirational shoot. At this point I´d like to thank my husband and Mary´s husband. They really put their shoulders to the wheel as my assistants. By the way, Mary´s husband made almost all the furniture himself.
